Step-by-Step Procedure
Step 1 – Consultation & 3D Imaging
- Dentist evaluates oral health, bone density, and gum condition.
- Digital X-rays or CT scans are taken.
- Personalized treatment plan prepared.
Step 2 – Implant Placement
- Local anesthesia or sedation is used.
- Titanium implant screw placed into jawbone.
- Healing cap applied to protect the area.
Step 3 – Osseointegration (Healing Period)
- The implant fuses with the bone (takes 2–6 months depending on patient).
- Temporary teeth can be provided during this phase.
Step 4 – Abutment Placement
- Small connector (abutment) attached to the implant.
- Prepares the base for the final crown.
Step 5 – Crown / Prosthesis Placement
- Custom-made porcelain, zirconium, or E-max crown attached.
- For full jaw restorations, bridges or dentures are fixed on implants.
Step 6 – Aftercare & Follow-Up
- Dentist provides oral hygiene and dietary instructions.
- Regular check-ups to ensure long-term success.
